The glass is half full

As a Financial Professional, you have a unique opportunity (and some would argue an obligation) to simplify and clarify the confusing, conflicting information that tends to run rampant in the media.

When an overly dramatic headline hits, inciting fear and apprehension, it’s important to see that not as a hindrance, but as an opportunity. An opportunity to reach out to your clients and prospects – to help alleviate fears, assist them in making sense of the news, offer solutions or even just remind them to stay the course and remember their time horizons.

Keeping in touch and providing clarifying, worthwhile information not only helps them, it helps you – establishing you as a trusted, knowledgeable resource. This is imperative if you’re trying to build solid, positive client relationships … and it may also earn you unsolicited referrals.
